Yogalates
Mindfulness, flexibility, core strength, and breath awareness are fused into a 60-minute flow. A beautiful combination of the sister disciplines, yoga and pilates.
Chakra and Movement
This class focuses on a specific chakra (or set of chakras) each week. The theme of the chakra is woven throughout each aspect of the class: sound, movement, meditation, mantras, mudras, essential oils, and stones. The asana (physical) practice depends on the theme; however, all flows will be gentle, if not outright restorative.
Root + Align
Root + Align is an alignment-based class focused on yoga foundations and mindful movement. We’ll explore the safe and functional alignment of the postures through the use of props and modifications. An introduction to breath work and meditation will be incorporated into each class. Suitable for beginners and beyond.
Chakra Restore
Focusing on one of the seven major chakras each week, we explore energy movement and how it affects the nervous system and our daily lives. Begin your week by clearing negative energy and making space for new experiences.
Restorative Yin
Recently dubbed “Yinstorative,” this 90-minute session blends the deep connective tissue stretching of Yin Yoga with the complete relaxation of Restorative Yoga, creating a passive and deeply healing experience. In addition to the physical benefits, this experience emphasizes stillness, breathwork, and supported poses, and will leave you rested and mentally calmer than when you walk in.
Yoga Journeys
A 60-minute experience of exploration and movement, this class focuses on the foundations of yoga from the ground up.
Pilates
Sixty minutes of core-concentrated breathwork and movement.
Up with the Sun Flow
For our early birds, this 60-minute class is offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6 am. Each week we introduce a Mudra (or two) and corresponding Affirmations; we move with purpose and confidence; and we test Instagram Yoga in our segment “Keep It or Trash It.” A morning flow that will leave you awake (but not sweaty!) and ready to face whatever day is ahead of you.
Chair Pilates Fusion
This 60-minute experience utilizes the chair for alignment, balance, and restoration, while applying the principles of Pilates. Appropriate for ALL ages and levels.
Deeeep Hips
Deeeep Hips is a challenging 90-minute sequence that systematically stretches the connective tissues surrounding the hip structure, leaving the lower body with a sense of length, openness, and balance. A timed, grounded series that will address imbalances and tightness in the hamstrings, quadriceps, inner thighs, hip flexors and glutes, Deeeep Hips utilizes props to achieve alignment, as well as comfort, throughout the practice.
Strength and Grace
The teachings of this class are highly influenced by years of study in the Iyengar and Anusara Schools of Yoga. Detailed instruction will help you to refine your relationship with your body, expand your asana practice, and bring greater self-awareness, on and off the mat. Yogic philosophy, mindful breathing, and meditation are essential elements in every class.
The Saturday Morning Rotation
The Saturday Morning Rotation mixes it up each week, with a rotation of instructors and movement classes.
The Sunday Reset
The Sunday Reset features a rotation of instructors, artists, healers, and local creatives, who bring their own unique experiences, to repair, restore, and reset your body, mind, and soul for the week to come. Guest instructors are invited each month to lead “Playshops” (thanks to Courtney Chunn for that VERY appropriate description) in myriad artistic adventures. Join us and make your whole week better…promise!
Music, Movement, and Meditation (aka Coming Home with Mel)
Join Big Mel for intuitive movement and flow through music, followed by meditation (and probably tea!).
Bigs and Littles
Partner up with your “Little” for 45 minutes of fun and movement. Appropriate for ages 3-8 (Partner “Big” must be 18 years of age or older).
Reiki Healing
Release heaviness and elevate your energy, while aligning your body, mind, and spirit. This 75-minute experience will awaken your inner power and help you to reclaim the peace within.
Yoga for Littles
Join us as we build a space that really is for ALL ages! Miss Joce (with Miss Kimmie for support) is so excited to get moving with your 3-8 year old yogis.
Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga is a meditative approach to a deeply physical practice. Yin postures are held for an extended period of time, targeting the deep connective tissues of the body and promoting the flow of energy through the core body and the hips.
Restorative Yoga
Restorative Yoga is a gentle, grounded practice that uses props to align the body into gentle chest openers, back bends, spinal twists and forward folds. Deep breathing and mindful attention to the sensations of the body and the experience of stillness is the primary focus.
Slow Flow
A vinyasa-inspired class that moves at a slower pace to enhance body awareness, balance, strength, flexibility and focus. A challenging 75 minute practice.
